Gulland Padfield wins top Client Strategy award at The Times/ MCA Awards 2014

Gulland Padfield’s London team is delighted to have won The Times/ Management Consultancies Association award for Best Client & Customer Engagement Project 2014. The firm was also Highly Commended at the awards ceremony as one of a new generation of specialist consulting firms.

The Management Consultancy Association Awards recognise best practice and innovation among consulting firms. Now in their 17th year, the awards acknowledge the work of consultants who bring value and thought leadership to their clients.

Gulland Padfield was recognised in two award categories at the Times/ Management Consultancies Association Awards this year.

  • The firm won the award for best consultancy in Client & Customer Strategy – an area where we have specialised with our clients in Banking, Asset Management, Wealth Management and Professional Services sectors.
  • Gulland Padfield was also ‘Highly Commended’ in another category as one of a new generation of specialist consulting firms founded since 2008.

Michael Parker, Chairman of Gulland Padfield, said, “I am absolutely delighted at this news - its an acknowledgement of the hard work by our teams who have delivered really challenging projects this year not just in the UK but from our offices in the US, Asia and in Latin America too. Above all, I\'m pleased for all our clients with whom we have partnered on some fascinating issues. Its great that everyone can share in this success.”

James Edsberg of Gulland Padfield said, “To win the industry\'s top award for our work in Client Strategy means a huge amount to everyone at the firm because that\'s the area of consulting in which we specialise. It’s further encouragement to build on our reputation for bringing fresh ideas to our clients.”

Client & Customer Engagement category

The MCA’s award in this category is given to a management consultancy which works with its clients “…to improve their client strategy, client service approach, channel management, customer relationship management, sales effectiveness, marketing strategy, product development or category product management.” Gulland Padfield submitted an entry in conjunction with the business services group, NSL which has recently implemented Gulland Padfield’s Client Centric programme across its business very successfully and substantially increased revenues, client loyalty and brand perceptions as a result. We hope to publish a case study on this project shortly.

Best New Consultancy

The award for Best New Consultancy is made to a firm (founded since 2008) which has demonstrated thought leadership and quality. Gulland Padfield was Highly Commended in this category and was runner-up to Elix-IRR, a specialist IT Consultancy to which we offer many congratulations.
