Amber Rudd has over 25 years experience working in Financial and Professional services. She started her career at JP Morgan in the Capital Markets division, working in New York and London. She has extensive experience in Corporate Finance, Private Equity and Venture Capital with a focus on mid market portfolio management, fund raising and listings. Before entering Parliament, she founded a specialist Executive Search firm and Human Resources consultancy with clients in Financial services and in Business media.
As a UK Member of Parliament, she continues to focus on legislative and regulatory developments in the business and financial sectors.
In September 2012, Amber was appointed Parliamentary Private Secretary to the UK's Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne.
